Countdown to Take-Off Tuesday
In less than a week, I will be driving to Halifax (with Aaron as my co-pilot) and Kirby in the back seat across Canada to Halifax. My bedroom was piled to the ceiling with boxes of food and various "stuff that I will hopefully need in Kuujjuaraapik. The movers came yesterday afternoon around 2pm. It took them about 2 hours to label and load. They had called me the day before and said they were coming a few hours later. I said I didn't think so and they gave me 24 hours...so much for the three days notice. Oh well. My room is empty and I can breathe a bit easier. Last week (and this week) was full of visiting people for the "very last time". I've "opted out" of spending my last weekend here in Toronto. I'm heading up to a cottage to spend it with friends. Saturday night we will "cottage hop" and visit other friends for fun, music, food, and drinks; my perfect last weekend. Stress free. The packing is done. I now just have to wait. As most of you know, I am impatient when it comes to waiting. In the moment...in the moment...that is my mantra.

Hi Keile. For some reason I didn't realize you were leaving already. Lately I've been bad with dates (like when I thought that I had only I one week to work on the MPR instead of two). Anyway, I was mixed up, and I was thinking you'd be around for a little bit longer. I was figuring I'd get a chance to see you before you left. At least I'm glad that we got to have lunch the other day. It's too bad we didn't have a chance to get together again, and that it didn't work out for you to meet my mom. Anyway, I hope you have a safe, easy trip to Halifax and a nice time visiting your family. Keep in touch. I'll keep you filled in on my MRP (by the way, I finally figured out how to handle the data chapter, I've still got a lot to do, but at least it's under control). Take care. I'll talk to you soon.
